Gaps around the errr.....Brim? Whats that.....As for smoothing im like 0.1% of the way....And detail...is like....0.0001%

Thanks Squirll. Ive almost sanded all the rondo smooth, and primed the helm il have pic's up later today. As for my life? Geeech! Girl problems, lol? And just General life. SORTED NOW THOUGH! And as for the chin I think im going make it like the halo 2 helm. Note here on Blue's helm, the chin peice sort of goes up in layers., I think it looks better..

Here's my helm all peped.
Heres the helm with the chin fiberglassed.
Ive started to sand the helm a little bit.
Also ive glassed it more and primed most of the helm...

ive only started working on the jaw....I will glass the rest of the helm later on when i need it. And the jaw need some more TLC.
Heres a pic of my FS HD Torso with my helm. (will make a start glassing it when I finnish my helmet.)
And heres the detail on the back of the torso.
keep checking by every now and again, il have progress pics soon!

I agree with you, the multi-layered chin looks better than just a rounded chin. More Master Chief-ey.
How many layers of resin did you use on the outside, and how many fiberglass layers on the inside?
