Not sure exactly how far into the whole thing I'm in, but I'm working on it slowly and parallel with Chief and all the other stuff I started.

Got fabric from Joann's during Halloween time and looks pretty good for fake chainmail.



Also, finished a Lothric Knight from Dark Souls 3 through-out the year, but no pictures yet. Did wear him to MD Renn Fest, so I assume pic exist somewhere?

Solaire has always been my favorite Dark Souls character and I've been wanting to make a cosplay of him for a while (too many other projects keep piling up lol) I'll definitely need to check this thread for references! It looks great so far! Also do you think it will be possible to roll in the armor? Oh and what is the feather made of? Is that also foam?

I'd say 'no' mainly because of the helmet, shield, etc are all eva foam. If it was metal, maybe rubber-molded stuff, sure. But I wouldn't risk all this eva foam work. Also, feather is eva foam.

I don't have a link on hand, but SKS Props have a free helmet template and youtube tutorial that was a great help.

I also used TrinesTreasury's (etsy) Captain American Shield pattern and Sunlight Sword and Shield pattern. They're separate and need to buy both, mess with scaling on one or both of them so they mesh up.
