Spartan build question

Hey for all the spartan cosplayers out there was wondering if it’s worth it to get elevator boots in them or if it’s best to not worry about them? I’m in the early stages of planning out my mirage core build.

For me this is 100% personal. It was not worth it when I had my carter suit. I also prefer comfort over anything and it was just not comfortable for me. It limited the amount of time I wanted to be in my costume.

I was going to do this as I'm only 6' tall and thought being 6'2" or 6'3" would really good but they turned out to be a nightmare as well as severely limiting what footwear I could use .. You could not use them in the ankle high boots I have which are mandatory for the boot armor I have. Also, hav3 you ever tried walking around in high heels for literally several hrs? Try it and I think you'll find it a very unpleasant experience ..

Then add a full armor suit on top of that ...

In the end Master Chief is only goin* to be 6' tall ... lol

I don't mind adding thick soles to my MK-VI. I did a pair at 50mm, 80mm, 100mm - getting used to the height difference.
Feels like walking in "MagBoots" if you watched 'The Expanse'

Like Randomname52 said, it’s completely personal!
I’ve just finished my spartan and Imma be real - I ain’t tall whatsoever
It can be a little uncomfortable walking with the added space beneath your feet and also a serious trip hazard if you are not used to it.
But in the end, if you WANT that extra height go for gold.
I wouldn’t say worry about it, unless you want that added height

I trialed a pair of demonia platform boots for a scene in Pious Dawn to make me seem significantly higher than the ODST character Everett Calloway as we walked past him in a hallway. It felt so cool but it looked goofy (luckily you don't see below my thigh armor on camera) it also hurt a lot and was difficult to walk with the armor on. I almost fell over many times
