Jea i scale it. I looks to big, but there are 5 cm between my schoulder and the lowest point of the helmet and wenn i put n the chest it will looks good.

Hey guys and girls, Noble here,
time for update’s

Take a look at my new Halo Reach Cardboard poster.

Have fun

Your pieces are coming along nicely and look great, keep it up :)
Thanks DaSlcker,
your Mk[V] looks good too.

I have an idea but i dont know if it works.

If you look at the visor of the helmet you can see 2 effects. The inner part is shiny and the part on the outside isn’t shiny (I think the word is matt but I don’t know exactly)

I have my gold / silver (what ever) mirrored visor, like this one

Now put at the shiny part your Tape on.
Like this

Now put the cellulose thinner (Nitro
)
over the visor, the Nitro should scratch the visor easily and made this MATT effect.

Pull off the Tape, und now you should have the shiny and the matt effect.

I hope the Idea works because nitro is very agressiv to the visor so i have to be carefull. This f**king visor cost 50€. So wish ma luck :D

What are you thinking of this Idea?? Any other Ideas?!

I think that what you are seeing in that image might not be a matte/gloss visor i think that it might be dirt/grime on the visor that the artist just cuts off at the "parting lines" because it looked artistically good
If you look underneath the "brim" of the helmet it has matte like smudges there too

on that note though
to have the visor look dirty and smudged like that pick would look really cool

and certainly a two part matte/gloss visor custom made would be cool

to get the effect you might want to also look into some simple clear matte spray. it might give you a decent matte finish. i dont know though you would have to try it out

Dirt ?! On every Visor, looking the same?!
Look at this

I Try to polish the outside of the Visor with the special matte polish, maybe it works.
Or with the matte spry you say, one of these 2 Ideas have to work :D

But I have other "problems" too, they aren't real problems but I wanna do it perfect, so i have no good ideas for them.

That can I do with the ears?!

Yellow = Matte effect
Red = There i install the Blue LED
Green = The diffucult Detail!!!!!!

Sry for the horrible Pic, you know iPhone FailCam

nice work so far :) wish you best luck with your visor ;)
we need more armor in austria, swiss and germany.
so keep on doing this great work

I used carboard for the ears ! you can se it in my thread !Ore just pm me !
And Yes we need more amor in AUSTRIA ,swiss and germany !!

this is looking sick and if u want to spend alittle more money you can do the double layer visor technique so that way you can do details to the front visor while keeping the back visor clean and nice

Omg, when i pepped the helmet i thaught, that i dont have to be so eccuarate because i can coreect the little mistakes by bonoing oder sanding -.- FAIL
Today is the 6th day i do sanding and sanding and much more sanding. FatalFail :(

The M6X is finished. Pics comming soon

hehe, failure is always an option^^ but errors are made to learn from them, and sanding practice isnt the worst ;)
just look at it the positive way ;)
