Ok, I'm sure by now everyone has seen the Reach Characters and watched the trailer 100 times over. And I'm sure that there has been hundreds of topics started all about Reach. But this one is different. I'm here to discuss the other Characters not seen on Reach, The Spartan IIs. More specific

the Red Team. I'm trying to get opinions on what they may have looked like. We all know what Jorge looks like:

but what does he look like without all of the heavy weapon attachments on his armor.

maybe something like this:

I want to open this up and get some other opinions.

Well, I checked my Halo encyclpedia and I didn't find Jorge's name in the Spartan list.

He would've had the same armor the Chief had during CE, but I could be wrong. Bungie had limited resources back them so who knows what they would have done if they decided to make a Reach game first.

The question I guess would be how long has he been with Noble Team?

That could be why he's not listed in the S-II list. Real-life reason, Bungie didn't make him yet. lulz.

Back to serious mode... That could also explain why he has an armor variant we have not seen. Maybe ONI hooke Noble Team up with some new tech...

that never made off of Reach. Chill going down the back of my neck... :unsure

That's what got me a bit ticked off. Why name only a handful of Spartans? More of them survived the tests and were able to fight.

I think that Bungie said that Jorge "washed out" of the SPARTAN-IIs. Meaning: He passed augmentation,

I think you got it wrong. "Washing out" means that he "died" during the augmentation, not passing it.

Sorry about that ambiguity. To everyone (with the exception of some ONI SectionIII people), he was believed to have died. That would make his missions even more specialized than any other SII. He'd still retain the anonymity that the SIIs originally had and therefore be able to do more covert work...

I need to find that article...

BTW: Concept art of Jorge without his helm... which means he probably won't be a main-playable character ;)

You can read all about it HERE

If the pics are to big just tell me and i'll delete.

I want this armor.

anyways.

i agree that this could be all oni's doing with Jorge, they did it before they can do it again and fake a Spartans death.

for all we know Dr. Halsey did train a second class of II's, in halo pedia it talked about the classII's being recruited six years later but it only mentions two candidates, maybe Halsey started the process of a smaller second wave but wasn't able to finish process or the project was ended at a key faze and control was given to the same people in charge of the spartan III program and she was told the candidates where murdered. she never spoke of it again because it was to hard on her, she even felt the pain of what she was doing in the first class of two's.

just a stupid theory.

I think its so they could be able to use Spartans in later games and give them suiting names with a personality to that game style. it gave them a bit of room later on to toy with the Spartans a bit more if needed, like we have now.

i think im going to build his helm before Junes, not enough reference for him.

OK, well, back on track shall we. Been pondering this over the weekend and have finally come to somewhat of a conclusion. There seems to be a growing trend of similarites between all of these new spartans. Take for instance the spartan from the concept art:

art010.jpg

now compare that to the spartan for the cover of Cole Protocol:

and now, to Jorge

Reach_Mark_IV.jpg

and now, Noble Six

I'm guessing this will be one of those, "wing it" type builds. A compilation of Concepts as I see fit. to build the most accurate spartan from my thoughts. What do you guys think?

if you guys watched the Halo Wars Movie... i think he is.. sgt. J. Forge whom in the end sacrificed himself and believed had died... though i might be wrong... :lol

Sergeant Forge is believed to be a SPARTAN-I, and I'm entirely positive that status doesn't qualify any person from immunity to a direct thermoneuclear detonation.

Though, I could be wrong, if you post proof.
