I don’t want to dull the brightness of the green too much so I probably won’t, not the best at it either
Two days to work on the suit, the boots are 90 percent done, all that remains is one thigh, and the knees!

C2 has come and gone, and with it, the first version of the suit! I crunched all the way to Wednesday before the con to get everything done and wearable, and I’ll admit I’m exhausted.
There’s a lot to be done to make improvements and make the suit more comfortable over all, but the hard part is over!
The best part is, I can sit in it!

First bits of progress, Crimson was kind enough to wire up the audio suite for my helmet. Unfortunately this undertaking has me drilling holes into my helmet.
Just had to take it slow but it fits the microphones
Should have more pics when I actually install the system, which I admit is a bit intimidating

It took some finagling and a little struggle, but the headphones and fans now coexist inside the bucket!

With this suit being an HCS coating, I had to bring it out to Dreamhack Dallas and the HCS Open there

After 4 events now with the suit, its needing a good bit of TLC and quality of life changes if I want to keep wearing it.

Re paint/ touch ups
I was able to deploy this suit, and received a T2! It is my hope to redeploy and shoot for a T3 by the end of this year!

Currently going to do what several other mk7’s have done, doing a foam abwrap that’s skinned in pleather

That sounds great! I haven’t seen that yet so I’m excited to see how it turns out. Still trying to figure out my Ab wrap and joint pieces

heres mine that was wrapped in faux leather and vinyl. Its a great way to recreate the undersuit look!

I know the build’s been done a little while, but if you were interested in at least a blackwash, the method dat_boi_builds posted a bit ago using shoe polish is so insanely easy and worked great for me. I couldn’t wrap my head around any other method. Plus it comes off with a little wiping if you don’t like the results. But the shiny fresh paintjob looks stellar too, and that’s how it is in game!
I wish I wasn’t in such a rush when I was painting and weathering my suit, I didn’t get a single before/after shot

If you ever want to learn, I got you fam. Easily my favorite part. It really ties everything together IMO. Here's a closeup of the weathering on my mando kit. Probably a bit heavy but nothing in the star wars universe is clean, right?

It’s been a while since I’ve updated abut I’ve been working on some quality of life stuff with the suit. The old chestpiece finally gave out and nearly splintered in half, so I had a new one made in time for Worlds in a few weeks.
All it has to do is get me past Worlds; then I plan on replacing it with another titlewave chest. I didn’t have time for TPU gaskets and my printers been on the fritz for a month (again).
I’ve also got the abwrap coming in the mail at some point, hopefully in time for Worlds.

This is the motto: "It just has to last". This is looking great regardless. Where did you order the abwrap from? Is that Titlewave too and is it silicon?
