Takin on Grunt armor in 1 1/2 days??

great job so far man. its cool to see someone thinking outside of the box with this stuff. if you wanted a shorter grunt you could always use the pyramid backpack thing as a helmet/chest piece and make a dangling head for the grunt, kind of like those halloween costumes with the cowboy and the horse.

Your doing very nice for just using reference pics! You also might want to figure out a way to use mp3's of grunt sayings, or you could learn how to say them yourself. It might just be me, but you seem very mad when someone says the slightest bad thing about grunts. I mean they were put in the game as the "grunt" of the pack. They were made to be made fun of.

I think that the costume looks sweet so far. I have worked with cardboard before and it can be annoying sometimes. Are you going to make boot-type things for the legs? They kind of taper off into round feet so thats just what i figured.
And yes, your info on the grunts is correct, they are 5 feet tall, as are the jackals, the elites are 8', and the hunters are 12' tall when they stand up, and only 8' in their battle possitions. The reason everything looks small in the Haloverse is because the master chief is so epicly huge.

Is it? Im going off of memory from the Halo 1 player handbook, but those are the basic ideas for the heights, i believe

anyways sorry ive been like dead for the past couple of days ive been tryin 2 hook up with this girl ... u know how it is ... anyways i reserved a chunk of time
2morrow cuz ive got the day off from school to work on this so there will be progress
And yeah Darkfire i was planning on doing that also with the arms and i would make cardboard 4 fingered hands lol then i would go over them with spray-on latex or something ... but im lazy so im probably just gonna end up painting them grey/purpleish
