The hazmat has begun

Next up from the Lord Erne Labs is hazmat. This suits been in the works for awhile now with the first render being almost a year ago.

100% custom from scratch. I plan on taking apart an old pair of hip waders to use as a pattern for the legs and then the rest ill use a generic shirt/pant pattern. The fabric has been a little difficult to find since the ssg skin has a bunch of little squares on the undersuit. So I've been looking at quilted fabric for that as well as possible using an airbrush system to get the pattern on it.

Hoping it turns out goated. I figured one of the ssg boys needed to run an ssg skin lol. The ssg skin won't be done in time for c2 cause I'm having a custom vinyl made so for c2 the hazmat suit will have the rak city paint theme to allow me to run the morrigan helmet (still had quite a bit to print off before c2 so I wanted to save print time). After c2 the build will be back on in full force.

Have no fear this guy is here that's totally fine. Like I said the first variation will be ready for c2 and maybe planet. But it won't be after c2 till I get down to the nitty gritty of building the undersuit. For c2 I'm just using some kryptek camo I had laying around. I can tell you I plan on using volleyball knee pads to use for mounting the knees since in the game it looks like it's got a wide band around the knee area and I am not gonna be mad at having a bunch of padding there lol you can see the back of knee in the attachment i provided.

Well well well.....just a little update. We've got primer and fiberglass down on majority of the suit(not all pics are current) with the last remaining pieces being picked up from SSGLordBert tonight. I'm gonna attempt to have V1 of this suit complete by this weekend for planet comincon so we will see how that goes.

The front torso is 1 print and the back is 2 prints.

I have a elegoo neptune 3 max that i printed it in one go for him

And away we go. 85% of hazmat has been sanded and primed with a base coat going on tonight. The last few remaining pieces needed a bit of touch up on the fiberglass before getting sanded but those pieces will eventually catch up to the rest of the suit. It's gonna be a close one for planet that's for sure.

Welp. Unfortunately due to shipping delays and a few other things, I was unable to finish hazmat in time for planet. With that being said. I've got 3 weeks till c2 and V1 will most definitely be done by then. The paint is gonna be simple. I used rustoleum deep forest green camo spray paint, and few pieces on the chest have been painted to match the final version of the suit. I still got a little.touch up paint and a couple things to add to the suit. With that being said the suit did almost get completed. Just have the strapping left and it'll be ready for c2.
