I had a question that's kind of on the other end of the spectrum from people not having armor.


So what would the policy be if you let someone borrow a loaner suit like for a con? Could they just kind of unofficially show up to troop? Would you have to be with them to sponsor them?

You know, kind of the general rules for a guest in costume policy.

Hmm, good question.
It should probably go as follows. *Deep breath*

When one wishes to borrow a suit from a suit maker or owner, one must ask said maker or owner. After gaining permission the suit owner must show up at with the suit to the convention/party/ect. The suit owner sould be obligated to show up to ensure the safety of his (or her) suit.
When lending a suit you are obligated to go where your suit goes if you so choose, while it is highly recommended, it is not nessecary if you so choose to not go.

If you are a member of the group, 405th, if you show up without your suit because you are loaning it, you may still show up as a sponsor as long as you have proper identification.
