So I saw this whilst I was browsing google and I looked for Halo Reach armors since I am thinking Reach armor is going to be my next project. I thought this armor was glorious but I have mostly no idea of what the armor pieces specifically are. For lack of a better description, it looks to me like they just mixed a bunch of armor pieces and it magically came out right.

So my question is,
What armor pieces are included in the picture?

Have you tried using Halo Vanity?http://veegie.com/Vanity/ If it's from Reach (and it looks like it is) then the program found on that site will allow you to recreate it and tell you what the pieces are. Looks pretty cool. I hope you make it!

After taking a closer look, I can say with certainty that this armor is indeed modded. The closest in-game recreation of the above would be the Hazop helmet with the second or third attachment(seems to be a few things on it that are from other helmets, such as a Gungnir & MP optical, Commando facial structure, MkV supplemental armor, etc., but that's my best guess), the CQB for the left shoulder, the Security for the right(both are a hybrid but that's how I'd do it), the Tacpad, Buckler, or Breacher forearm attachments(right is inaccessible, left is a hybrid of the Tacpad and Buckler), Tactical/Soft Case for the utility, HP/Halo chestpiece(also has elements of the Collar/Breacher and Collar/Grenadier but those don't have the grenade belt), and finally the kneepads are a hybrid of Grenadier and FJ/Para. If you're planning on buildingit(which would be freakin' amazing, you could mod a few pep files, or freehand it with foam to get these effects. Hope this helped and watching carefully.

Will it give me a 360 clear view on all the armor pieces? And will it let me attach multiple armors in one section such as the shoulders?

All of them.

No, I'm not joking. They're all in there. Every permutation from Halo Reach is on that model.

Simple enough right?

Thanks for these details. I could actually see which comes from which.

Huh, yeah I can totally see that now. Crazy. Have you come across this before / know the origins of the picture?
UNSCSpartan117 - No, unfortunately Vanity does not let you rotate the model, nor zoom, nor can you attach multiple pieces of the same type of armor, like Chernobyl pointed out was done in your photo. Sorry man, it looks sweet, but like she said mostly impossible. I think you could get close though.

I like the challenge. Impossible is only possible in the mind. B)
My last build was a free hand, but I'm going to try again. My failed build taught me much and I think since I have my own laptop now, maybe I'll have some pepakura.
I'll make some of my own adjustments on the forearms and knee pieces for example because I think they look ridiculous.
Time will tell.

Thanks guys! I'll be saving this thread for the time ahead.

It was an image released by the team responsible for creating the Halo Reach model extraction tools, before the full tool went live.

I appreciate your enthusiasm, but unfortunately, recreating that image is going to be extremely difficult, if not actually impossible. The image you're seeing is, as I said, a result of every available Armoury cosmetic being displayed at the same time - there are components that clip through each other. The only way to faithfully recreate what you've shown off would be to have a modeller merge each and every mesh together into a buildable file, which is pretty much - again, here's that word: impossible. I would strongly encourage you to try another project.

I appreciate the concern, but I'll be going ahead with it.
Like I said, I'll be adjusting some things that are ridiculous, such as the grenade going into the cylinder on the chest piece for example.

If I may bring my 2 cents up to 4, I would try and foam it by taking what you see as most recognizable and melding it(trying to keep the number down to 2 or 3 pieces per part XD) for each part and then building them. I had no idea that this was all of them, but as I said I do find some pieces more recognizable.

I've recreated the Spartan in the original post using full assets from Halo: Reach. As you can see, it's nothing more than a mess of all Spartan assets added to the body - again, I strongly urge you to reconsider the project and perhaps pick something a little more realistic.

However,if you're dead-set, then by all means, good luck.
