Thanks! I really wish I could make a video to show how I do it just need a camera, but one more tip I can give is: smooth out your base model first and always build up, if you need to build down I find its easier to just cut it out and put a piece of card stock in place before making a mold, also cold weather stinks because the bondo doesnt harden fast enough but I find a heat gun will solve that problem and really the cold helps give you more time to spred it and you dont waste bondo. draw out the details and work on one at a time put masking tape around the area your building up and just slop on a piece of bondo, let it sit depending on the temp outside, pull the tape off while still soft and once hard or you can use the heat gun start carving away the stuff you dont need with an exacto knife. and I use sanding blocks for the rest, hope that kinda helps

another update I finished my CQB helmet and I just need to prep it for molding I've only have a few shots of it as I was working on my first podcast for you guys, I got a nice little camera the kodak Zi6 from work. so hopefully I'll have that up for you soon, but for now here is some pics

Oh my goodness, oh my goodness! What i would do to have a cqb that detailed!!! All I have to say is amazing! Keep it up. The molded helmet should be sweet.
 
That helmet is ABSOLUTELY SICK. CQB has always been a favourite of mine and you do it totally just. Keep 'm coming! (y)
