It does look a little "thick" but it could also be the angle of the pics kinda like an optical illusion or something. i dunno either way still going to look great when im done..............hopefully
I dont think its too thick, I mean the pic of your model is closer and at a different angle so there isnt really a good way to accurately compare them.
WOW. Am I correct in assuming the original model is pep? If so, thats really awesome with all of the stencile work throughout the piece. Either way this model is going to come out nice since it looks like your really good at assembling the pep. It's so easy to get slightly off track and end up with a skewed model, but your doing well keeping it straight. Good luck man! Great work!

I would say that the original model would be either a replica or the actual studio prop used from Stargate. Thanks for ur kind words & yea ive noticed it is hard to keep everything straight but ill let u in on a little secret my model isnt 100% dead straight it is just slightly skewed but u can barely notice so im happy with it seeing as im a first time pepper
Oh BackBONE just did some searching on Google & found this pic
so im kinda guessing that the "collar" could be a universal item for every Jaffa helmet
