I went to Sheetz for lunch as usually and saw these...(sorry for the picture quality as I could not find a website for these little guys anywhere I looked. Also sorry for their large size, there seems to be no way of shrinking linked images.)

Though they probably fall under the parody law for IPL(Intellectual Property Law) and have escaped many a copy right and trademark lawsuits, do they really expect people to buy these cheap knockoffs?

Anyway someone wrote this on their Live Journal site they claim came from the back of one of these toy packages. (Link Here)

The TRANSMOGRIFIERS are a race of living machines who live on the planet SUBSTANDOTRON.
They are split into two diametrically opposed camps. The VIRTUOBOTS and the DECEIVACONS.
The VIRTUOBOTS are led by POSITIVUS PRIME. One day when the GIGATRON, the leader of the DECEIVACONS gets hold of the BIG SPARK, he destroys SUBSTANDOTRON.

This makes me miss the good old days of the Go-Bots(Click) and M.A.S.K.(Click.), as well as the original Transformers(not the piece of crap cartoons they put out now).

This is just sad to me.

I used to own the MASK copter you seen in the opening there, till I changed back and forth so many times it broke.
 
POSITIVUS PRIME? STARHOLLER? SUBSTANDOTRON? ..yeah I'm pretty sure they're poking fun at the transformers. :lol:
 
You're exactly right Sean. I especially like the STARHOLLER one.
Poking fun or trying to make money off Transformers good name, either way it's almost blasphemous in my eyes though. I can see now why my brother so avidly hates remakes of any kind as stuff like this usually always happens as a result.

yea the new ones use cg and there horendious. instead of transforming they just turn white and blurry and then their suddenly a car/truck/jet/etc. it makes me want to cry.

Transformers Animated is made by the same people who did Teen Titans...When I heard this I was already in tears...lol.

I mean the new one is ok with animation, but the character design is crap, they look too skinny and have new gadgets which are stupid, since when did optimus prime have ropes that could shoot of his hands to tie up criminals? Since when did the entire world know about transformers? I remember the auto bots tried to keep themselves secretive to as many people as possible back then, they didnt crave attention and say "look at me, I am your hero"

And since when is optimus prime a FIRE TRUCK?!
 
The only transformer series I liked besides the original was Armada, it had the feel of a good but different story, it had a nice plot too, plus, the action figures were awesome.
