Vacuum forming

hi i want to know about vacumforming, i know its a machine that you use to melt plastic over a mould to create armour pices and then you pice them toghter with fiber glass. Wat i want to know is can you buy the molds for the armour or do you make them if you make them out of wat material?

I'll start off by saying, "no one will sell you molds".


But look around, and read as much as you can before you make too many threads of your own.

thanx i started making my armour and have almost finished the top half its made out of cardboard but on my next project i want to vacuum form my suit. hey cn ne1 help me i want to upload some pics but i dont know how unless i link it and i dont want 2 do that! thanx for ne tips

Lemme show you something... And you'd do good to remember it.

Look at your URL's.... If it doens't have a .gif, .jpg, .png etc.. at the end, it won't work.
