Visor Static

This is a relatively small problem I came across doing my helmet, but I've noticed a lot of hot glue "string" (you know what I'm talking about) sticking to the visor. It's not glued there, but just seems to be attracted to the plastic. It's a complete pain to remove because a) it's hard to get a grip on, and b) it flies right back onto the visor the moment you let go. I found rinsing the plastic quickly with tap water helps, but it's far from ideal...

Has anyone else had this problem/know how to solve it?

well im usualy able to get the "static" or glue strings off pretty easy but i would bet that if you used some kind of mineral oil or paint thinnner it would be easyer to rub off it and the residue it leaves some times
