Warden Eternal build

Well I’ve been slogging in trying to get this build finished for 2 weeks time

Problems with the white paint, 2 coats of undercoat and 6, yes 6 coats of white and it still looks patchy but I’m gonna give it some heavy weathering and hope no one notices cos I’m running out of time. I’m also trying to get Master Chief repainted and detailed, and wardens hard light sword of course. Progress so far-

Lights in head have since been tidied and run down back of neck to a battery pack but no pics yet. I’ve also got some mesh that I’ve sprayed white that’s gonna go over mouth area to hide my face lol

Less than 2 weeks until Wardens first appearance. I’ve made start on sword, paint curing as I type. Lower limbs and feet finished and got shoulders on. Still need to sort out thighs tho, and put cod piece and hips on, and do the ‘light balls’ above/behind hips. I know why they call it ‘con crunch’ now lol

Chief is all ready for the Saturday tho.

Thanks Sean. It’s a bit untidy, I’m still very much a novice at this, only started cosplay building/armour/prop build in September last year and I’ve got a lot to learn. I’m not 100% happy with it but I’m happy with how I’ve progressed since my first build (Master Chief).

Don't sell yourself short Gixk2!!! We are our own worst critic. What looks like a hot mess to each of us.....is pretty dam cool and awesome to everyone else. You're doing great.

I think your work is legendary. Surprised the admin hasn't wandered over and given you kudos. I'm looking forward to the end result!

Thanks.

I’ve started wiring up the inside of sword but I’m waiting on delivery of additional lights, but here’s how sword looks so far -

I’ve still got lots to do but I can at least see the end of the build now.

Just wanna say, I’ve seen some brilliant, professional looking builds on here. I do look briefly when I get chance but I’m literally spending soooo much time trying to get this done that I’m not very active on here except in my build thread, but I do look and will post any advice my novice mind can muster as soon as I can sit down and contribute more. Some beautiful work on this site guys (y)

Needs a few tweaks

ok so the thighs need bringing out a little to line up with knees, the eyes are not lit bright enough, we sorted that after when I took everything off. The sternum needs bringing out to give me more arm movement as the biceps are catching on chest. The calves are big, nothing I can do about that as they needed to be because I bought smallest stilts I could but theyre still big on smallest setting, maybe once thighs are sorted better they wont look so out of proportion.

All in all though, I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out, considering its my first proper stilted build and Ive only been doing this a year. Plenty of room for improvement, and Ive learned plenty doing it :)
