Hey all, just wanted to share the process of a build I am currently doing. I am working on a Lato, the signature side arm from the free to play game Warframe. I decided to use a sliced method, and then use filler to smooth it out. I started with some simple cardboard slices, and continued to work on detail from there.








After completing the main body, I began the long and tedious process of applying filler, sanding, applying some more filler, sanding some more, etc.
Here's the first coat:



As it's the first coat, it is very rough. It also has a lot of cracks, so I will need to fix these in additional layers of filler after sanding.
Here's the second coat:


As you can see, it's getting a lot smoother, but it still has a few cracks up close. I will apply one more coat the next time I work on it, and then begin the process of primer and some more sanding.
