Warhammer 40k Imperial Fists Space Marine WIP

I am official starting my first pepakura build.

I will be doing an awesome Imperial Fists Space Marine which I hope will eventually look some what like this http://img834.imageshack.us/i/spacemarinev.jpg

In my next update I will be showing the pep files I will be using.

UPDATE: Made my own Mk IV Maximus power armor helmet with Google sketch up 6 and it looks sweet

That's awesome, I want to do a Space Marine build before the year is through, not sure if that'll happen though haha.

Will you be doing weapons or anything? Should probably get some pics up before someone flames you for having no pics in a WIP thread.

I will be building a bolter, and a powersword. However if i can figure out how to make a decent pair of power fists or lightning claws I may do those.

Nothing to much. Trying to make a powerfist pep atm I'll take a screen shot and post it when its more formed out.

Good luck to you brother, you should start one of these over on Obscurus Crusade too; never hurts to have more resources at your disposal for a big project like this one.

I have created the major part of my power fist Pepakura file the image can be seen here it incorporates the major armor shell and the palm plates at the moments now I just need to build Fingers. http://img856.imageshack.us/f/powerfist.png/

Just gotta throw in my 2 cents and say that if you made the lightning claws that would be the coolest thing to ever exist. Dooooooo ittttttt.

I approve of this lightning claw idea. Perhaps these will help you in some way?

You'll have to unfold them if you want to use them, but thats pretty minor. Hope that helps!

Thanks those will probly help me in some way shape or form. I'm really starting to undermind my progress because I want to redo my maximus helmet I don't feel I made the 3d model represent the helmet properly. Its the last thingI'm building so I suppose I'll have time to work on it though.

Ive been taking a while because i was gunna start with the helmet and wanted something one of a kind but i went over board and made like 10 helmets I'll post them and see what you guys think also my work area has been temporarily closed for construction while my basement gets finished

Hey guys not sure if anyone is still following this but I had decided a little while after my last post I will not be working on my space marine until the new game comes out so I can rip files from the game to make my armor more consistent as sizing different files from differnt people is hard to co-ordinate with other files that may not be in the same scale with that check out the armor customizer from the new game

I think there will be a surge in 40k cosplayers very soon.
