thank you all, except for you know who. i will be posting more on this helm as it progresses.

I will do that. I bought to silvers and used the wrong one. I know I still have some work on it, but, thank you for all the kind words.

I think it looks amazing, but i also agree that adding a second color would make it look better. in my experience the colors tend to come in different shades when something is weathered. so adding a second shade of grey could help make it better. though in the end your opinion is the one that counts. this is really great work and if you like it the way it is go with it.

If you would post contructive criticism they wouldn't have to. That said I agree with you. There will be more pics up tomorrow with more detail. Try to keep your comments positive and there won't be any problems. Cheers mate.

The helmet look great man! I agree on the duel layer visor. It will make it come too life even more!

Hey man like he said before, Be nice and posetive and all will be good. This is a bluerelm MKVI helmet. you may be unaware that this is one of the most detailed MKVI helmets out there. and considering it was hand sculpted out of clay, I think its pretty darn AWSOME! Stay uplifting and youll have a fine time here on the 405th.
This post is annoying.

Anyways, I like the color. Not a fan of the over weathered look but, it's not my helmet. I do have a question, did you purposely cut the nose part of the helmet off?

Love the scratch work. It looks great.

Suggestion (constructive, don't worry): black wash the main paint before adding the scratches. Take a can of black spray paint, a rag, and your piece. Spray a little black paint onto the surface, then immediately wipe it with the rag. You will leave a little black behind, especially in the low laying spots. It adds a little more weathering effect.

But it looks great the way it is now. Nice job.
