It's amazing that you've made such a fantastic ODST helmet out of cardboard. That takes some serious skill mate. Your armor looks phenomenal.

Indigo cow, the bottom edge where the visor meets right? Forgot to credit Rube for the idea

Sorry i keep having to show incomplete photos but a simple touch up turned out to be a fustrating week. The white primer i normally used had way to much pressure in the can and gave really bad bumped texture and spent a few days re-sanding not to mention once again, some spots ended hitting bare cardboard
All the detail is, just have to even out the surface

wow, (for lack of better terms) i am absolutely shocked at how well this is turning out, especially for making it from scratch, absolutely beautiful! keep up the great work!

Yeah, haha the helmet is sitting on the molding supplies. Let me tell you how much cleaner it looks with one solid color... Ill post an update real soon

This is impressive! I can't wait to see it finished. 
I know how you feel man, on both accounts! Hitting bare cardboard especially! Its really annoying when you sand bondo on cardboard, hit the cardboard, it frays, you have to bondo again, and repeat the same process like a kigillion times! Hope everything works out fine in the end though!!!!!!!

just a few more hours of prepping and i shall comence the molding
Visor was being re-done so i patched up the area with cardboard and ductape
Heres the a little of the trooper ive worked on. If the ODST isnt finished by dragoncon or reach (dont know which is first) the trooper is taking priority
basing it off the concept art and a little of my own vision (i hate how the game helmet looks)

there both exactly the same with different equipment configuration. im going for the left one
This absolutley has to go into the elite section! Your helmet is a beast!!!!!!! Cant wait to see the mold and some casts come out of this soon! And I dont really want to say this, buuuut.... I will anyway! This helmet is easily comparible to Rubes! The craftsmenship that went into this is amazing, not to mention that this was built from scratch!!!!!!! =0

K, scratch that, I actually just took a look at your helmet compared to Rubes, and sorrry Rube, but youve just been served! This helmet is by far the dominent pick! (in this writers opinion) =P

I definately did reference rube's helmet building mine but there a few different chareteritics and shape of the helmet is slightly different.
But man, i could not pull off those very sharp clean details like rube's helmet. If you take a look at the side front vents, I just couldn't sharen up the edges as much as i attempted
Alright i should have casts by the end of tomorrow then start up on the armor
