What colour armor should i do?

Okay so i'm painting my armor and i cannot decide on everything so i'm asking you guys.

1st of all i'm asking on the armor coulour and when i ask if i should do it natural white or bright white, with the 'natural' white i'm meaning a white colour that you can see in the nature (rabbits winter fur, snow etc. ) and not those artificial bright whites that you see often these days.

Also i'm asking about my emblem i'm posting images below:

If i make the lion only it's going to include the red/yellow square around it and the 9 'purdy' flowers

PS: Should i change the lion to face east (Russia) to show that the Finnish Spartans arent afraid of the east!
(originally it was facing east until the russians forced us to change the lions head towards the west, appearatly we where 'threteaning' the russians)

i would definatly avoid making it in anyway shiney, it'll show up even the slightest little errors, which can be very annoying. oh and is the lion stabbing its self through the head? ala one of the kings on a pack of cards?

So basically I just took 12 or so reference pictures and I'll work from there.

I would say natural white and blue because bright white would be to bright (lol).

LOL... He is not slashing his head open. And is not from a card deck... as the image said 'both are official govermental flags' meaning that, that is officially our nations flag. the lion flag is our goverments flag (army president etc). and the blue stiped flag is the civil flag.

I believe in the US your govermental flag is an eagle...
