Cloth is much cleaner and stronger, also it will conform to unusual shapes much better...

Fiberglass mat is the cheaper alternative... it's made from the discarded material from manufacturing the cloth.

oops alittle tried...the cloth should be the last layer of fiberglass to be layed down, mat first then cloth last....if you sand cloth the texture will show
 
kk thanks, im hoping to fiberglass soon.. just need the money for supplies..

do i fiberglass inside and resin outside.. or fiberglass both sides?
