AR's do not suck, they are an effecient killing machine and play a great role in the Halo series. Although I do agree I would use a BR over an AR any day, AR's are still an amazing weapon that dont get the credit they deserve.

LeeKegan is the guy with the wood BR. I do agree though. I am trying to find a BR to carry with my armor. I love the mix of long and short range weapons all in one. I think that to many people carry the AR and I like to be different. For exaple, I refuse to make master chief armor cause everyone makes it.

I agree with Adam, AR's are much more iconic. Its like the lightsaber, more people will recognize that than any other weapon from the SW universe. Just as they will recognize the AR more so than the BR.

Definantly. My bro (super noob) loves the AR and absolutely hates the BR. I hate using the AR, so its settled.

People build them because the design's good. It looks like a futuristic and yet functional weapon. The BR is just a generic looking gun.

That being said, any weapon is good if you use it right. Just fire the AR like a pistol in halo one with rapid trigger pulls and you'll see how useful it can be.

Personally, I fell in love with the BR from the E3 halo2 demo. Too bad the finished BR was changed in the finished game and not as badass as in the demo.

I agree with Adam and p0rtalman. Some people may think because there 1337( ) but, in some case scenarios AR would be best. AR is more for medium to close range. BRs are medium to long range. And, yeah the AR is more iconic. I mean I haven't seen any games come close to the AR's design. BR's are closer to Famas' (Obviously) not to mention the SR is also based off the 50-cal.

EDIT: I forgot to say.. did you forget Adam molds Halo armor and AR's to.

Depends how far away they are.

Close range, the guy with the AR would stomp the guy with the BR because he can unload and not miss.

The AR is a great weapon if you know how and when to use it. Too many people just think it's a noob cannon like the SMG.

i apologize but i only recently seen leekeegan's and yes there are a good number of BRs out there its justt that the majority of creators make ARs
