Until there is at least an 100% accurate ghost trap(or pretty friggin' close to 100%) file uploaded, I did some digging through the google 3d warehouse site, and found a ghost trap that could be used temporarily; it needs to be opened in sketchup, then saved and exported to PDO and unfolded.

Link: Ghost Trap

Note: it will need some editing before it is ready to go over to PD3.

omg. i completely forgot to measure my pack and get those numbers up. oops. ill hit that up asap.

and with the trap, theres actually a template for a stunt trap (no moving doors) build up on gbfans or therpf. i cant remember which one, but ive got the bookmark on my macbook at home. ill post when i get there and get these pack measurements taken. hopefully they will work ok and ill have a moldable trap in the next few months.

I believe venkman on one of the GB fansites can't remember which one has plans for making a ghost trap. I wish I could find the plans to make the pack out of styrene that would be helpful.

there is a big reference and plans section on gbfans.com, including the venkman71 plans. there are several different versions of the pack and the trap, and theyre all free. one or two of them are jumbled up and slightly unorganized, but still great plans.

a part from finding the maker of the files I cant help, wish I could :(

as I cant edit the file with a 3d program to be 100 % 1 to 1 scale.

I have tried pep designer to up the scale 100 % 1 to 1 scale cant be done 100%.

with the measurements that were requested, i found a few things that made it hard to find the measurements you wanted. for example, measuring on the gear boxes, i cant tell if you want from the base to the top of the fins, or base to base. the crank knob also shouldnt be included. and one or two other items. ive included the link to stefans plans. they break down everything you need. height, width and depth / thickness for all the parts including the accessories for the shell. this should answer all questions.

What is the printer settings set for. I go to print preview and I can get the photon pack to print right. Are the files for A4 or letter 8.5x11? Thanks you guys are doing a fantastic job. Can't wait to build this stuff. I love Ghost-busters and can't wait for their new film after so long!

Hi I was just curious if you could renew the link for the wand as it wont download any more it isnt working thanks

this may help you with the names of the parts.

Wow, that brings back memories... Seeing my name on pack plans from a decade ago...

hey guys im really tempted to make up a ghostbusters kit for my next project i just cannot find a working link for the gun anywhere. i have about 3 different sets of files of the proton pack its self but none include the gun.

i'd really appreciate it if someone can reupload the pep files for the gun or send me a PM

these pep where made by movieman so all thanks goes to him.

" I originally did this last year for some friends who wanted to be Ghostbusters for last halloween.

After construction of each part, I fibreglassed over the card to produce a stronger model, I used 2 layers of fibreglass tissue as this is easier to work with, a better smoother finish, but still turns out very strong. After I had completed assembly I added lights and LED effects. The finished item was amazing and went down a treat.

So here is your chance, for any would be ghostbusters ot there to make your own proton pack.

Please note: I made a mistake and the 3D model came out the wrong way round (mirrored) I did not notice this fact until I had completed all the unfolding, so to put this right I have inverted the 2D page so the model will be constructed the right way round.

Once i have uploaded all the parts you will have a full, complete proton pack.... proton gun and Ghost Trap.

So what you waiting for........... the world needs saving"
