Hey all, I was just wondering what your work area setup looks like. I have limited space inside but I have an entire workshop in the yard equipped w/ plenty of power tools....Inside looks like this:

This is pre HALO

I actually made this to work on my other hobby, scenery modeling....which in of itself doesn't take up that much space.....however, now that I've taken up costuming to a new level.......

This is what it looks like now:

Added extra storage shelves, a small side "Table" loaded w/ all the templates of future builds I may never get to, an ODST helmet that is too small on me, and a ton of reference pics up on the walls. And as you can see my nice clean and clear workbench is just swamped now.....I need to put up additional shelves for all the WIP pieces to keep them off my work space or off the floor where my kids won't step on them.......and yes, that happens a lot in my house.......Behind that accordion door on the right is a storage room w/ 2 1/2 mannequins, 5 packs of EVA, enough foam board to wall up the first floor of my house (Free), and other assortment of junk.

So what do you have?

I...would have to post pictures of at least half of my house! Which will be posted later.

Print and bonding area. Here is where parts are printed and epoxy is used and the like .

Test and produciton. Main Computer system and where electronics are done and CAD is done ..
Often I have the left screen on CAD and the right in a game of halo or just stuck on the 405th.

Above the print and bonding station is Where I store some of my Props .

Also I have a few extra props in the bathroom. I ran outta space to put them.

Most of the panting is also done in the bathroom as I can seal it and use the fan to suck out the fumes ect..

I basically use wherever I can find space on my tiny bedroom floor XD a lot of painting tends to happen on my small desk or in the kitchen and then anything else happens on the floor.

That is awesome, man! The improvements you made to that closet are killer. I love all the "artwork" as well. :) I should get some reference pictures on the wall. Would save them from getting damaged like they are. Also, looking forward to seeing what your scenes are like. *Keep an eye out, I have been intending to make a thread for posting non-costume stuff into.. Onto the workspace:

This is were I'm supposed to work..

The left side drawers have my leatherworking tools and the right side has my crafting materials like hot glue, xacto knives. (The spaceship lamp is something my dad made for me as a child)

But, 20 minutes later and this is what happens..

I've got a desk where I work on all my Pep stuff, a room devoted just to storing supplies and kits, 2 shelves in my garage with supplies and WIPs, plus bins with WIPs... and lastly a shelf dedicated to my molds... During the summer I set up a table out side to work on all my fiberglass and bondo stuff, in the winter I use a table that I have setup inside my garage.

I've got a big table that my sister and her husband originally made for their stag n drag. Just a big 4'x8' sheet of plywood with 2x4s around the edges. Most of my props I hang up on the walls, and some like the turret and my old retired suit have their own designated spots. Current suits get stored in the sea chests I have until I can build more display mannequins. When the weather is warm (All 4 months of it lol) I set up shop out in the garage for resin and rondo and all the fun chemical work. I have a nice 1000w sound system in the garage too, so I can jam out to the local rock station while I work :)

I thought the same thing, strange, but it's just a fundraiser for engaged couples (for a wedding or honeymoon) they have games to raise the money. Commonly called a stag and doe party.

Prop Heaven!!!......."Stag and Drag"?.......:confused

Yeah sorry, must be just a thing they call it where I live. It was a pre-wedding party for my sister to raise money for the wedding. The table was build for card games and a fun little game called Left Center Right. A fun game....where I lost about $30 on lol.

So you help fund your own sister's wedding..........sad.

I can never tell when you're being sarcastic or not.

Choose to think it's a joke and move on, I think.

On-topic: this is where all of the magic happens. All of the modelling work, all of the upload work - everything that happens on the 405th, file-wise, happens here. Not a lot of armour work at the moment since I lack the funds for it, but soon there'll be cardstock strewn across this desk and finished parts being churned out here.
