So I did manage to get of my lazy butt and rondo the chest plates. :D

I was so happy to find a teal spray paint today after hunting around. AND it was a satin finish!

The boyfriend wanted a scorched look to his helmet in the front.

We bought acetate sheets in clear and blue so I'll get the visors done later next week. :) After that it's just little text/decal detail and the helmets and chest plates are done.

Visors cut out and taped in. We bought a can of VHT Nightshades in black, but that stuff is so hard to put on. ): And putting it on dark like I want it makes it so I cant see out of it. ): The blue looks better anyway with my teal stripe .
 
With Nightshades you only need to put a very light coat or two on it. It looks really light when outside of the helmet because there is bright light on both sides of it, but once it's put into the helmet with your head inside people won't be able to see in, but you can see out.
