can i use my ODST helmet as an armor perm with MK6 and put a gold visor in it? or is the ODST helmet in multiplayer different?

I think it's the same, only the visor color is different yes. And the helmet color, but you can make it the same as the normal ODST.
But I don't really know for sure...

Yea, its the same, you can just paint it a different color and add a gold visor.

It is definitely the same construction as the Landfall ODSTs. With a different visor of course. There are other parts to the Spartan ODST though if you want to incorporate them into your build.
