I know it's late in the thread, but while you were working on the helmet, how did you fiberglass the inside portion of the bill? I'm in the middle of doing my son's helmet and that is the only section I haven't done yet.
I have the entire inside done but the brim (bill). To be specific, the portion attaching to the upper part of the visor and front lip. The helmet fits my 10 year old and I just can't seem to get to this area. I thought about slathering it w/ the resin and jamming in fiberglass and hoping for the best. Any advise?
