btw, why do people have gadgets displaying the weather outside? I mean, normally, you use windows (edit, no pun intended. I mean real windowz, not ms windows) for that purpose

How did you take the picture of the logon screen?
I see you used programs to change the bootscreens. It's alot more fun when you make the boot file yourself
But i used that software before, the boot animation works only for winXP, right?

i mainly use it for the temperature reading.. it fluctuates wildly in my corner of texas. one day it could be a high of 72 (yesterday) and the next (today) 83. its just a nice way of waking up and putting on the right clothes so i'm either not boiling or freezing my nards off.

BTW pervy, very nice logon, did you use login studio from star dock to do that? and if so, could i get a copy of the file for my personal use?

for mine, i just ended up grabbing a 405th wallpaper and converting it into a logon screen

just pressed PrtScr (Print Screen). i have made quite a few boot screens, its a pain trying to figure out for the first time how to make a pic 8bit colors. And as for the boot animation idk ive never used anything else than xp or vista
