Cool. May start one up before too long.

    Foam Armoring

I just came across this - I think it would be fantastic for putting together kids' halo costumes. It's relatively cheap, looks fairly simple, and if they grow out of it, I think it could be adjusted over time.

    Britain's Got Talent!

I'd have to say the troopers were the best part of that. Also, they wouldn't have been able to dance quite as well if they were wearing the ABS stuff. Main point was the effect. I think they pulled it off.

    My Rogue Helmet

I said no, because I have a feeling when you add the armor, things may even out a bit. A profile shot of you and the helmet may be a better factor in determining appropriate size. But overall, I think that's a great job!

Sisko4´s H3 Marine (torso Finished, Knee´s At Work)

Adam, I could use one - can you PM me a price... and I'm in San Marcos, so I could pick it up at your convenience...

Things I Do To Make My Pep A Little Easier.

I believe you have to have the full version. It's Ctrl-F in both 2 and 3. In 2, you click on the flap and then a menu box pops up and you choose "Switch Position." In three, you just click the radio button that says "Switch" and then go about switching your tabs. I didn't care for the ink pen...

Things I Do To Make My Pep A Little Easier.

So I've started working on some H3 Marine armor. It's been a while since I did any serious peppin'. Thought I'd share my techniques with everyone. To cut, I use a razor blade in a plastic holder - I used to use an X-acto knife, but those blades are pretty expensive. For less than $5 you can...

    How Much Are You Willing?

Ithica - that costume in a box gave you something that no other costume will give you. Experience and confidence. You can't put a price on that! While you may not want to show it off, I know it has a special place (besides the bottom of a closet) for you because of the invaluable knowledge it...

    How Much Are You Willing?

This is a topic that I've battled with for a long time (well, about 8 years, I suppose). From what I've seen from a lot of costumers and costuming groups, the general misconception is that money = quality/screen accuracy/perfection. But the truth is, it's not a direct equation. I get really...

    H3 Marine Armor

I plan on stitching belt loops on it to keep it attached to the web belt. I think using a layer or two of foam would make it work. thanks guys - I appreciate the input.

    H3 Marine Armor

I think I probably will - it doesn't look that complicated and pepping it may be more work than just making it. I'll probably use canvas and some sort of foam, since it sits right across the ol' tum tum. After wearing my Vader costume (cod piece) and stormtrooper gear (ab plate), putting...

    Starwars Ironman And More

I disagree - while we are accustomed to what we saw in AOTC, I think the new CW helmets are very aggressive looking and look better in some regards. How that translates in to real world... i dunno. This pep version of the CW helmet seems really odd looking. I'm just going off of memory, but it...

    H3 Marine Armor

Yeah, I don't think many people see it because it's under the belt. I'm not sure what to call it. You can sort of see it here. Not a great pic, but I haven't put my FileShare stuff up yet from the game. It may just be a soft piece, something to provide cushion and a better fit for the marines...

    H3 Marine Armor

Thanks - I saw that, but wasn't sure if it was the same part. I'm sure I can use it to make it work.

    H3 Marine Armor

I've searched, and I've looked, and I've found the Halo 3 Marine armor. BUT I can't seem to find the ab plate that's in the ref pics. Is this piece available? Or, is it a soft piece that needs to be stitched up to wear? Either way is fine, I just wasn't sure if I was missing something. Thanks all.
