Really excited to see all the parts together! Started my full 3d printed suit today. Restricted on when I can print things so will take a while but seeing your post gives me all the motivation I need

I’m excited to see them all together too. This has been a dream build of mine and I can’t believe all the pieces are accounted for and finished. I don’t think I will ever love another armor the way I love the Halo Reach Mark VB I’m glad this suit can bring motivation to you. I’m here if you need any advice! I’ll be watching your thread

The first full suit up has taken place y’all. Over all I’m extremely happy with this build. Like most, looking at everything all together there are a few things I’ll have to adjust and some things I wish I did differently all together. The biggest issue with this suit is upper mobility and it comes from the chest piece being too large. It’s nothing that needs to be redone immediately but down the road I would like to remake the chest piece smaller and possibly cast it out of foam. Enjoy the pics and comments/criticism welcome!

* I still have to make the abdominal portion of the undersuit, will come later *

THAT IS SO BADASS!!!!!!!!! What are you using to attach the peices of the armour to the undersuit? Not sure if you have mentioned already
The undersuit is actually Just a basic black “sports performance” undergarment that comes with this hexagon padding on it. It’s definitely good for what it is but I want to actually replicate the accurate parts of the undersuit with rubber, foam and silicone where needed. It will all probably attach just to my undersuit or have it’s own strapping. Most of the pieces on this suit are being held with just friction and padding. I do have a few buckles and loop system which hold the thigh pieces up to the belt I wear And then buckles in the cod piece.

So after going back and looking at the reach torso I noticed I had indentations where the lighting modules would go. I thought about going the route of dremeling them out and just using some sort of acyrlic or panel diffuser glued in but something about it has just never looked all that authentic to me. So what I did was mix a VERY tiny amount of blue dye into clear casting resin and allowed it to cure into the cavity. It’s hard to pick up in the pictures but it’s a very very light opaque blue that is very convincing that a light belongs inside. I will dremel from the backside and eventually add the LED but for now I just wanted to make it more game accurate
