405Th Firefight Leaderboards

Hello 405th! So now that ODST has been out for a few days, myself and a few others thought it would be cool to have some 405th Firefight leaderboards and a little competition going on. If anyone in "the management" wants to take this idea and run with it in a more official capacity, I'd love that.



Here's how this is going to work (I'm open to suggestions, so this might change).

Step 1: Play firefight, kick butt.

Step 2: Go onto bungie.net and get the link to your carnage report.

Step 3: Post it in this thread or in a PM to me, see how you do! Eternal Glory (tm) awaits you!



Anyone on the 405th can submit a score for their Firefight game. If your team has non-405th members on it, that's awesome too, the more the merrier! You aren't constrained to playing with a specific set of players, just get out there, bust Covenant, and post your scores!

Can't get a 4-man together? No problem! There are 4 categories you can submit a score to, based on number of players, so get out there!



Firefight team members not in the 405th will be in parentheses.

We've been playing other maps, but Lost Platoon seems to rack up the score the best, so that's what ends up on our highest score. Also, there's a warthog.



All scores so far are up, please don't worry about any delays, it probably just means I'm asleep or busy (playing firefight).

Added. Oh yeah, it would be nice if you guys could also post the forum names that go with the GTs on the reports, since I'm recording by those, instead of gamertags.
 
Some friends and I played a two and a half hour firefight on heroic last night. After breaking a million points we all decided it was time to stop.

Hah, yea. I think we are going to bump up to legendary. It got to be around 12:00 AM and we all had work today, so we made a deal with each other to not retreat into the choke points. Almost lasted a whole set like that. It was a blast, but I have to say your hands start to hurt after 2.5 hours. ; )

dam it set 6 we where so close to getting set 4 yesterday but the server dies but still wow i am impressed looks like i have some competition
 
I feel like I need another category for number of sets/rounds/waves cleared or something, because it doesn't always equal score. I mean, Xuri got to set 6 and barely broke 1mill, while Heratic18 got 1.3mill in set 4. What do you guys think?
 
I definitely think it should be organized by waves/rounds/sets. It's much harder to get past the higher sets than to amass a large score.



EDIT: Are you counting the Easy difficulty for this? I've gotten to the end of Set 3 out of sheer boredom.

Hadn't given it enough thought yet. set/round/wave ranking would have to be figured by difficulty I think, as it's really the defining factor in how far you get. Now we've got score, wave progression, difficulty, and number of players. Augh, too many variables!

Aw, I was sort of hoping this topic was dead so I wouldn't have to update it anymore. :p



I might do away with the weekly score section, looks like we don't have enough recorded matches each week to justify it being there. All scores should be up to date. If you've beaten any of these, submit your scores!
