In my quest to find a busted guitar to create my guitar hero controller, I ended up owning 4 extra guitars other than my GH controller.
I never thought I'd ever own one, and now I have 5 in my room.

Yeah, just like Fiat owns Ferrari. Two totally different things. Well, Squier isn't that bad, but it's not Fender.

'tis true, that being said, until you actually have the skills, there's no point in buying a more expensive guitar. it's not the guitar which makes you good.

then again, i started of with a rather expensive ibanez (or so i thought at the time) and have never regretted it, compared to some band-mates who hat squiers. cause if you put some effort in, you get better so fast its unreal.

agree. you'll never really get good playign a squire or Lyon, etc. (jackson...i kid , i kiiiid)

a basic strat is really only about 250 or so. far superior to the "sqire" "strats or tele style kits for 100

Still it's sick. A friend of mine made his own guitar body and it was the dopest thing Ive ever seen. It was that creepy talkin skull thingy from Metalocolypse Dethklok... full metal, and he was gonna instal little pores in the bopdy to squish out fake blood while he plays it..... A thing of Hellish Beauty <3

It's a shame I dont talk to that guy anymore :/ I would have loved to jack that thing from him :]

Yea i know, i gotta cover the Head Unit and Paint it... but it works and thats what counts!

Contents:
- Dumpsterdived Car Bass Unit (had a crack in the speaker that i patched with glue )
- Head unit out of a cheap First Act guitar amp

Hiding in the corner of the picture is the 5 Inch that the Head Unit used to power... Upgraded to a 15 Inch Bass Speaker lol

I asked around at the Fender Headquarters. everyone there said Fender never made a strat like that. all strats SAY stratocaster on them.

there were A FEW fake metal strats in the 80's that were made in china and not by fender itself.

Sorry no pics but i play bass and guitar. I have a Fender Squire, and this weekend i'm dropping off at guitar center to buy me a epiphone. ALthough I do not own a bass but I play it when my friend lets me play it.

A dean Dime Razorback......so sharp and evil looking i made a parcially painful scratch on my arm with the head of my axe.
no joke, I accidently hit one of the spikes into my friends's leg...he was pissed off LOL

Also i got some dunlop 12-52 strings, meant for being tuned into things like drop C.

Also was once tuned into drop A and the strings werent that loose
