Second one is paint. I tried charcoal once. That... ended badly...

Seems like a ton of people here have the artistic gene! We should have some sort of showcase for people to post their Halo works in.

haha, I love art. I just started doing the halo-related drawings (like, just before the first post here) so I think i'm off to a good start. =D

anyway, def. working on more stuff, anything anybody would like to see? I'll try and come up with something?

and screenshots or refrence pictures to work off of would be great

this looked interesting, so i attacked it at first glance... while i haven't been posting for a bit, might as well explain that first...
I came upon a friend with a laser cutting machine that costs more than an suv, so i am currently in a business venture with him... i design and build steampunk and cybergoth goggles and accesories and he cuts my parts.... so i pay him for the mass of juice it takes to run the laser...
i do a few portraits here and there on ms paint, but mind you they take a while longer than most because i do them with a mouse and not a tablet... just as well, i think they came out ok....

I like to draw as well, but usually not halo stuff. I leave that to legoes! Medieval armor and fantasy is what I stick to.

The last two took me 3 hours to get right! But I think they turned out nice.

I'd consider myself an artist (was always very good at it, from a very early age), though to be honest I haven't really drawn anything since high school. Well, nothing except for the blueprints I draw up for my scratch-build prop projects lol

I'm seeing some really nice artwork from others here, which is kewl. Not too surprising though, as given our hobby here anyone involved in it would have to be artistic/creative to some degree heh

Gracias senor, yes, I do a share of freelance work provided I have the time. I work a 2nd shift job 5 days a week and run an independent film company on my days off. With me being in the middle of shooting the Halo live action version of Recovery One by Rooster Teeth my time for Photoshop has been diverted to time in After Effects. Art is art though .
