Hi there everyone. I am new to 405th obviously. But first I would like to thank everyone for the Tutorials, guides, and answered questions. There was soo much info that I didn't actually have to ask myself.

But On to the Recon Armor.. Well so far just the Helmet.

This was my first time ever using Pepakura, Fiberglass, Resign, Putty, Primer, Paint.. etc..

I am brand new to all of this.. So tell me what you think?

Constructive Criticism Please.

I would really appreciate it.

Next I will probly work on the Shoulder and Chest.

Sorry About soo many pictures.. But time line is obvious.

1- Almost done with Pepakura.

2- Finished Pepakura Fiberglass and Resign, Also Cut out visor from old Motorcycle visor.

3- Puttied and Primed.

4- Didn't like outcome of first primer coat so I re puttied and Sanded.

5- Re primed. Looks a lot better than before.

6- First Coat Paint (Glossy Smoke Gray).

7- Detail lines added. Black done with acrylic paint.

8- Padded Inside, Along Neck, top of head, back of head, and Bridge of Nose.

9- Added Top Head Piece And More details.

10- Current Resting Place on my Xbox.

So Everyone, Whatcha think?

Well, considering it's my first time using pep as well (making a halo 1 marine 'cause it's the only thing I'll have done by halloween) I'd have to say that looks pretty awesome. I hope mine turns out somewhere half as good.

Also, looks like you taped during pepping, is it okay to resin over tape?

Actually I used no tape at all.. But on that note I have heard that Fiberglass Resign doesn't adhere to tape very well..

My Supplies where..

Recycled Paper.

Elmers Glue.

Sizzors.

An Old Motorcycle Visor.

Bondo Fiberglass Cloth and Resign.

Bondo Glazing Putty

Rustoleom Filler Primer (Light Gray)

and Krylon Glossy Smoke Gray Spray paint.

Oh Yeah and 80, 220, and 400 grit sand paper.
