Windows Vista:Already the Internet viruses have targeted Vista.The worst security=Vista.Resources are not included because it will be like XP when it was released.The industry will go further only for Vista(memory,video,audio...)
64-bit:Lack of compatibility with many things that can be installed,from Games until Applications.

I'm going to have to call BS on this, because it's obvious that you have NO IDEA what you're on about, put nicely, and I've tried, but I can't find any hint of sarcasm.

Anyway, look at it this way: Vista backwards-compatibility is top notch.
When a new OSX version comes out, it breaks stuff. this is the rational way to do it, keep it clean.
When a new WIN version comes out, they try not to break stuff. stupid, but easier for users.

I haven't found anything that didn't work on Vista 64bit other than old DOS games and my logitech webcam. Not too bad. The reason why some things won't work is usually because there programming is flawed in the first place, and its pot-luck they work on the previous OS.

Well I think XNA is free, but you have to pay for the membership which let you publish.

I love Microsoft.

No, I am definately not trying to start a flame war, you can't win them.

I am simply ( ie politely) trying to point out that when I was 13-16 I knew EVERYTHING in the universe to, however I was smart enough not to continually post my well versed in the universe opinions for everyone to see. I tended to remember that sometimes certain people who have a linear tempus deficit should be seen and not heard.

Also, there is no need to constantly fill up this board with inane replies, I see this all to often. This board while free for us, is costing someone somewhere alot of money. To a certain group/type of person this is either unknown or uncared about, as their instant gratification is all they are concerned with, this kind of thinking tends to make my fist itch.

This board is going to drawn a young crowd, that simply can't be helped and its not all bad. The upside is young minds can generally come up with amazing solutions to problems, if they possess problem solving skills ( as opposed to the fix this, make this work, pamper and spoon feed me types I see to often these days) and can be a great boon to the community. The down side to drawing a young crowd is the ones described above are extremely rare, and we generally get stuck with the ones that are a drain instead of a boon.
