Bioshock Infinite: Project Songbird

So this is the plan:
I'm close to finished with my MKVII and will start this project a while afterwards.
I want it to be done on halloween so I thought it's not a bad idea to start collecting ideas

I found this picture on the internet, seems like it will be in the artbook you get with the limited edition, there's also a Songbird Statue in it so very good references.

Concerning the legs I thought about digilegs or something like that and for the wings something like this

Although I know that the Songbird moves it's wings per hand I like the movement of these wings a lot better.
I still need to find out a lot about material's but since it needs to be light I'll rely on Volpin Props Big Daddy build that is made of cardboard and expanding foam and looks bad ass.
This is it for now but I'd really love to hear your shout's on this project
