So my group of friends is going to try and do some GL mashups that I'm largely in charge of procuring props for. These include
- Jessica Cruz Sailor Pluto
- Guy Gardner Highlander
- Hal Jordan Gundam
- TBD

Here are some prop progress pics!

Bought a new big boy resin printer, and a second of the model I had already, to keep up with all I need to get done.

Some of the meshes aren't converting to solid, so I'm having to do a lot of work extra work. I'm also mentally mocking up the nylon strapping scheme as I go.
I grow less confident by the day that I can get this done by DragonCon.

Hollowing out the helmet, then all that's left is the arm pieces. And a hell of a lot of printing and praying.

Prop progress on my 3 Friends' outfits.
Touch screen on the big printer crapped out, so I have to trouble shoot that before I can start my Gundam suit, which is nearly all modeled up

25% of one shin
Strangely, these don't seem to line up perfectly.
Gotta make do, I guess.

So impressed in the undertaking of printing the entire Gundam. I’m going to my first Dragon Con this year, so I’m looking forward to seeing this (you can do it!).

Also mashup costumes are just so fun to begin with

Skirt armor is all printed, sanded and sealed.
Legs are printed, sanded, sealed with Polycrylic, pinned and magnetized, lower back pieces require some hand work to look decent but they're light, which is great.

Still have to hard mount the backpack, print the other 4 parts of the chest, helmet and arms. About 25 prints left in total.
