Bondo Glass

There's this thing called bondo glass, it's a mix of resin and fiberglass. Is it good? Is it better than having to resin then fiberglass then resin again?

It's nt as good as actually fiberglassing and then adding resin on the fiberglass. but it is better then actually using "Just" resin.

The unfortunate thing about that is that you cannot really use it to resin the outerior of a helmet, since it cannot be sanded easily.
And it's not strong enough for "just" the interior.

But you could use it to resin the fiberglass pieces but it would be useless.

Bondo Glass is useless for what we're doing. It's about the consistency of taffy... it's too thick to spread accurately.
