Bondo question for attachments

I have almost finished pepping Jorge's Helmet (thanks to Forge Reclaimer). The question I have is... Should I resin and bondo the helmet with the attachment on or do them separately, attaching the attachment after? I'm thinking of doing them separately and then attaching it to the helmet. Any suggestions or advice on where to go from here is very welcomed and appreciated from the members of 405th.

my personal choice would be to do them as a separate and use high strength neodymium magnents to attach them so you then have the choice of making other attachments and having interchangeable parts

cool tip i learnt doing the magnets if you set all your suit armour to negative and all your weapons and other bits to positive then you don't have to worry about remembering if it won't link up
