I am planning on building a couple of weapons with styrene but I have zero experience working with it. Do you have any tutorials on working with styrene and the apoxy putty? And how did you get the base shape with the mdf?

That's not too bad I guess. Only downside with the weight is if you're having to hold it all day at an expo, etc.
Still, it looks damn good so far - can't wait to see it all painted up!

Yeah it would, but I'm also going to make copies and that should cut the weight down, cause I don't want anything happening to the master copy
