Can some one make a guide for resining?

Hi, i'm gonna attempt my armor soon, but i do not know what resin to use.
What resin should i use?
I heard there are a few: Polyester(heard it sucks), Epoxy(good mechanical propeties but hard to handle)
I'm looking for a less viscous resin but has excellent mechanical propeties! thanks!

Polyester resin is fine. Epoxy is just as easy to work with (even better actually, in my opinion), but it's more expensive, harder to mix (you'll need scales and practice) and more daunting toxicity-wise. The viscosity of these two is similar, but varies from product to product, so check the data sheets if you want precise info. You can increase it by adding fillers (e.g. cotton powder) or a thixotropic agent (no change in viscosity, but it will stay on walls).
