Hey, I'm making my second build. My first one Master Chief was made in a rush, I had only 1 month to finish it so I hadn't got time to reinforce it and detail it and it turned out like crap...
But now my second build would be much better, more time, more experience, more money

I have created yet some armor pieces, photo's are crap quality...

Really nice my friend. Solid peps and good scaling. But yes, time is key and the longer time it takes the better it turns out.

Thanks guys, going to make in a few days the shin and knee.
I'm looking for a better chest that's more accurate to the Carter's chest and also a more accurate thigh.

That should be an excellent base for the bondo. Nice and clean, with very little warpage. I hope the resin cures evenly and doesnt pull it out of shape.

Wow, compared to my first attempt you're a master My second attempt is looking better, but will soon visit the trash can. I hope my 3rd attempt can look as good as your work. Nice job. I'm considering a cutter to help me cut and score the cardstock as cutting and folding seem to be a challenge for me (arthritis).

The replies are realy motivating. The pepakura part is realy easy, hopefully will I not mess up the reinforcing, the bondo and paint job
And I'm not a master at all just a bored 16 years old kid

Atleast the 'prototype'. I'm thinking about making it out of wood. If I got the material and wood. Stay tuned

I'm planning to make a weapon. Not a Halo: Reach weapon but the simple 'ol SPNKr. I know Carter is always seen with a DMR but I like the cool, big Rocket Launcher. After some researching I found a thread started by bevbor. http://www.405th.com/showthread.php/9410-Rocketlauncher?highlight=spnkr+blueprint. He published a 3D model of a very accurate SPNKr. I'm now making templates of the 3D model. So it's easy to cut the wood.
If you want me to publish the templates just reply me. I don't take credit or anything to the SPNKr.
Planning to start next week or something on the build.
