Ok so here is the next pep build I've started. Noble Team leader Carter! I know that BMcClain did the unfold but I don't know who did the 3d model, their name was not in the file. To the two of you, GREAT job very nice model to put together. I didn't take a shot of the the hole mess of parts cause we've all seen it before. But here is one after a night of work.

Thanks noble1, is was a fun build the detail in the front is the hardest part. At first I thought it was going to be way to big but because of the odd shape it will fit just fine.

looks good, very clean pep work, mine always end up covered with glue strings from the gluegun

Have you tried white glue? I use LePage white glue for wood or paper and a tooth pick to spread it and to get in the tight areas. It dries in like 20 sec. I've used it right from the beginning.

HD Carter Helmet unfolded by The King Cobra...looks like it's the same. One tip to you though sir....be sure that when you go to Resin..go lightly. Even if you used 110lb cardstock..do small sections at time. The detail on this bad boy is too sweet to have any warpage.
It's funny to think about, but as far as I've seen on this site..looks like only you and I know just how much work that sucker was lol.

you sure it was unfolded by King Cobra? Because that helmet has the visor details on it. But this one does not.

I'm not sure who did the 3d model the file just has who unfolded it (BMcClain), the line detail in the cheek was a bit of a pain. It's just so thin I was afraid of ripping it. Now I just need some good ref pics and it's off to the body shop.

Just a small update, first coat of resin is done. Now I just need to buy some more for the second coat. I'll post some more pics soon.
