hey chef, i got q couple of questions. 1 on the shoulder piece, the piece that is white on top of the pink at the letf . how did you make the edges like that??? with a dremmel or undercuts?? 2 on your forearm, where the white piece is, those little squares , how did you made them??? 3 the files you are using are the ones rainbowdash posted for foam building?

knocked out a shoulder tonight...I'll paint it in the morning.

Well, for the pieces on the shoulder...and I hope this makes sense in writing...I printed the stencils at the correct size, then I printed the same stencil 20% smaller. I then traced the larger stencil onto the foam and traced the smaller stencil inside the larger one...which gave me guide lines to cut the downward angles...I should post a picture...would probably make more sense...hahaha

The small square pieces on the forearm are freehand...you have to get creative sometimes with foam, use its thickness to your advantage.

Lastly, the files I'm using...the forearm is Rhinoc's file for the most part...I mean just the basic shell, all of the details are freehand either carved or raised with foamies, the big raised white part with the squares you asked about are from the kingrahl file, as seen on rainbowdash's thread. The elbow is also from the kingrahl file.

Anyway...I finished details on that second forearm and sealed/primed/ began painting today. I also built the other shoulder, paint that tomorrow. Megacon deadline is looking pretty good at this rate.
