I'm in the process of creating a ODST costume and I need a undersuit. I found a black one but it seems more grey in the picture. It's made of polyester and cotton twill and I'm wondering if it looks grey because of the lighting in the picture. I figured before buying and being disappointed I'd ask if any of you guys have faced a similar issue. Will it look black when I receive it? :confused

To me, it looks more brown than grey. However, it is just a stock photo of the product. So long as the description says "black," then you should get a black jumpsuit. Where are you planning on ordering?

Rather than a jumpsuit, you may want to consider BDU pants and a combat shirt. The combat shirt will breath much better than a jumpsuit and keep you cooler; something to think about when wearing all that armor. Rothco makes some cheap BDUs.

Ok, yeah, that's black; the lighting's just a bit odd. It's a decent price, but, consider my previous suggestion.

Tru-Spec tends to run a touch gray, almost like very SLIGHTLY faded black. IMO, not a bad thing. Especially if you ever intend to wear the suit outdoors on a sunny day between May and September.

For my halo 2 build I'm using urban camo BDU's just looked more canon to the game to me. That's just my oppinion.
