Convince me not to. Mk6 1st build

I recommend just getting a battery powered hot glue gun. I snagged a ryobi one last november for like $20 and it has done amazing. single battery lasts about 30min for my super old batteries or a few hours if i use one of my new 4AH lithium ones in it.

Duct tape, super glue, and hot glue can fix anything. Maybe a power bank as well to plug hot glue gun into and charge electronics.

I would also add needle and thread or comparable for your suit. never know when you need to patch a hole.

Does anyone have stencils or font for the CAMS or ODST and UNSC logo? wife's got a cricket and id love to get some to slap on a shirt for my toddler.

Nope. I just today started the electrical for the helmet so I will get there in the next month maybe.
Looking at the wiring diagrams people are sharing are literally Greek to me. My brain doesn't comprehend things that way. Lol. I may just end up buying a throat mic with the speaker in my chest piece for now. Let me know how it goes please?

What did you use to adhere the straps to your pieces? It looks superglued on? Did you melt it together? Have you tested the adhesion strength before it pulls away?
Ca glue and super glue.

I have not strength tested yet. I also have E 6000 to use now.

No melting

But havnt done more rigging sense I got the e 6000

The wireing diagram is more for the leds and the headphones. I am currently working on the wiring setup for those.

I'm looking for something that will melt the plastic as it fuses with it to create a better bond, like a chemical plastic welding almost. I'm not sure what that would be though. I feel like that would have better wear and tear.
Super glue is know to melt the nylon webbing and you could use plastic staples. But iirc most people use e 6000 for their rigging.

Dadgum, yeah that looks like a spiderweb of cables. I will definitely have to watch some tutorials on how to do that. Do you have experience with this or are you using youtube to figure out what you're doing?
I know enough about low voltage electrical to not kill my self. I have some general experience.

Im than happy to give a breakdown of what all is going on there it's not really complex.

For my electrical i have decided to use this combo. One side of the usb will be for my 2 fans and the other will be fed into the dc step down buck pictured below from 5-3.3v. The 3.3 volts with feed 4 leds and my shooting range headphones all in parallel. I have already tested the led headphone side of this on a breadboard.
