You pep look like they turned out pretty good, If you have any imperfections you can always fix that with bondo, Good luck on your build, you don't have alot of time and a full suit of armor will take up plenty of that, keep up the great job

This looks really good already, especially for your first build. Those shins look like they have minimal warping, if any at all. And the thigh's don't look like a noobish job, They look a TON better than my first few attempts lol. Also, good job on using high def files! I used low def my first time and really regretted it afterwards. But your build is looking really nice and clean so far, keep it up!

Thanks alot, i would have done the LD but it was top plain for me :p, well thanks very much for the encouragement :D, the only problem with the thighs is that they slightly differ in size , no idea what i did differently that made it Finnish different..i managed to fix it with custom supports :p, im going to start forearms tomorrow , should have some more pics ups by saturday :D

Awesome! Well good luck with that!

The main reason I used LD files on my first suit was because I rushed it and completed the entire thing in 3 weeks. I still wish I would have used HD files though :p but that's why I'm making an HD Reach suit now.

Ooh nice, ive decided to do an LD forearm but cheat and add detail manually prob look the same as Hd plus it saves time ^_^

I will admit, the HD Mark VI forearm still looks fairly daunting to me haha. It has some ridiculously tiny details in spots. I did see a Medium Def forearm once though... you might go looking for that... It would be quicker and easier to build than the HD, but have more details already than the LD...

Oh my god if i can find that medium def i will be so happy, i know what u mean about the small parts i tried to do the Hd didnt do well, did Ld looks out of place in compared with the rest...

Thanks very much mate :D, may you also have great luck with your build, haha i have a tremendous amounts of patience but small pieces have small flaps, making it hard to glue it and when i hold it for long periods of time to glue, my fingers end up getting glued as well xD

Looks pretty good so far. The medium-def forearm piece can be found in the All-in-one Halo Pepakura pack found in the link below. Look in the HD Mark VI folder for "MD Forearm".

If you don't mind the constructive criticism, if I'm not mistaken, it looks like you have some tabs on the outside of the piece? Just wondering why you did it this way, as it will add to your work load during the finishing process to blend them in.

Also, it seems like the handplate's side wings are backwards? Not sure how that happened. :)

Here's what the handplates are supposed to look like:

Aaaah Noo haha silly me, thanks very much for pointing that out dont think i would have noticed till the very end, i kinda rushed the piece so it was a messy job, needed an excuse to remake now i have one, and yes thanks but it seems that MD has its difficulties as well, ima stick with HD and try my best :D Ill keep this post updated as soon as i have finished more pieces and Nooo, i dont mind ANY criticism, if theirs MAjor errors that i dont spot then please point them out :D:D:D

Thanks very much mate :D, may you also have great luck with your build, haha i have a tremendous amounts of patience but small pieces have small flaps, making it hard to glue it and when i hold it for long periods of time to glue, my fingers end up getting glued as well xD

haha yea i know what you mean, it also depends what type of glue you use. using regular school glue will take a while to dry compared to super glue.. then again you have to be more careful with super glue as it dries faster or if pasted incorrectly could damaged the area you're trying to paste, nonetheless, hope your project comes along great :)

You built those other HD parts, I got faith in you, you can do the HD forearms, they really are not that bad
