This is it guys! 20 hours of work for a piece that is going to be 90% covered. but I'm happy I did it. It's also the only thing I've made for Alex that he is actually impressed with (and I made him a leather Nightingale! )

But I have to agree this thing is snazzy. So stout that it actually stands up by itself! If you can't tell, the main fabric is a rubber type with little hexes by Yaya Han. The accent fabric is thin and silky, taken from the lining of a dress coat. The zipper is metal and the collar and shoulder pipings are filled with fake Christmas snow (like for those city displays. It even has the glitter. Lol)

Guess who's got straps? How you like me now?!

Turbo again printed me these cool squarish buckle things. We didn't really plan on a width. Naturally the easy to find 1" wide nylon looked too small and the next size 1-1/2" didn't fit. So I bought 2" wide nylon, folded and iron them on both sides, then sewed them to be 1-1/4" wide. For the red tab, I folded red cloth over 1" nylon and sewed them together. For now it's just pinned, but it will get sewn to the big strap.

It has been a day. Most of the time has been spent on the helmet. One of the challenges was it was a bit narrow on the ears, so I resined the inside and used wood clamps to spread it while it dried.

I did the same thing with a fiberglass layer. Then I connected the jaw. Now I'm going to fiberglass a Pepakura visor so that I can make a buck to use with the vacuum former.

Visor is done. Electronics are done. All that is left is attaching the shoulders and I want to mount a knife to the chest.

So far the two fans and one light run for 20 minutes before the battery dies, but oh well! Now we know what we'll fill those mag pouches up with Sean Anwalt :)

Finished the thigh lights. No problems. Thanks to TurboCharizard who showed me how to use a breadboard.

I made 7 attempts at vacuum forming a visor before getting one I was pleased with. Only to learn that stony props jim 's visor material doesn't heat form! So I just glued it to some .020 PETG and put some velcro around it.

Also I think you can try to use a MC Black cammo. Its pretty neat))
I start to use it for my ODST build, but I didn't have a proper full costume photo yet)) only parts.

This suit is pretty cool.

Though, word to you builders.. make sure your wiring is good! I put this helmet on and heard an audible pop from the battery when the fans were not even running. Pretty scary. Chris wired the switch wrong, but he fixed it.
