Racism applies to skin color. It's an overrused word and drives me nuts. It is also a Marxist word, and we should not use it.
As in the words of the great Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. "Judge a man not by his color, but by his character."
However, this quote does not necessarily apply since the subject is not about racism anyways. I do not know where you got that from.
